Thanks for the contact. Been researching this story off and on since 1984 when I discovered it researching a different project. Spent 20 years at Mass State Archives -- assisted with lots of institutionization records research -- great stuff. Now work for Mass Department of Correction -- Director of Volunteer Services. After volunteering there for 16 years, I guess they thought they should hire me.
