Hello! Thanks for naming me as "friend". I attempted to write to you earlier but I'm not sure whether the message reached you (I'm new to this business!). In any event, I look forward to communicating with you.
I would love your advice.... I notice you post a lot about books that are or have come out. I'm very excited the my book A DIFFERENT SHADE OF BLUE: HOW WOMEN CHANGED THE FACE OF POLICE WORK is coming out July 15. How do I let POLICE PULSE members know about it and encourage them to learn more about it at www.adifferentshadeofblue.com?
Hello, Nancy,
I am delighted that you chose me to be a friend. I, too, love the books and authors you like, and have to keep myself from falling out of my chair with laughter after Evanovich and Hiassen. It's wonderful to be mysterious and hilarious at the same time.
Nancy,
Thank you for the invite. Police Pulse looks very interesting. As a writer of police procedurals, I'm always looking for information and ways to network. I see you're a John D. MacDonald fan. I still have all of the Travis McGee novels on my bookshelf. I sure wish MacDonald was still with us and turning out those great books.

Hi Nancy, welcome to the criminous world of Crimespace.
I write a lot of fantasy adventure stuff as well so I have a split personality in my work- I don't sped as much time here as i should..been selling shorts and novellas in 'those worlds' for the last three months....
Hi, thanks for adding me as a friend. I am quite new here and I thinks one of the few who doesn`t write but I do love to read crime novels and hope to find new and interesting writers

Hi Nancy,
You don't seem to have many friends (!!!!!!) so I've accpeted your request. Seriously though, thanks for making me feel welcome on here.
Having just had a nosey at Police Pulse it's right up my street and I nearly joined, but was reluctant to put in personal info - is this viewable by all when you join?
Regards,
Col
