Thanks much, Sarah. It's always nice to hear when someone enjoys the website. It's a load of work...but with your three jobs on top of the writing, I'm sure you're no stranger to that. I also work three gigs to support my writing/editing 'habit', so I feel ya.

Best,

Hi Sarah: Yes, we love dogs, cats, whatever else shows up on our doorsteps. Snookie, the part sheltie, we rescued from the shelter. Solstice, the beagle, was a wanderby. Where we live, they'd call her a "dog who don't hunt."

Hi Sarah: You know what they say, the busiest people are the ones who accomplish the most. Hmmm. I've always wondered who "they" are. I'm a writer of mystery and suspense.

Beer Lao, Asia's best, now that's saying something because I've always believed (although I do admit it could just be the heat) that all the Asian beers I've tried all taste better than the beers back home. Glad you enjoyed it. Will you be at the next party for the Bintang?

I was drinking some Thai whisky at a party last night. I'll have to show up and convince Bobby to drink it with me sometime.

Seems that most crimespacers share similar writing favorites.

My pleasure, glad you liked it. I'm pretty sure it was Beer Lao from Laos - available at the Silom Shopping Center market on Hollywood Blvd. just a little east of Western. One of, if not THE, best beers in Asia. We'll have to share another one, one of these days.

That's right, now my feeble little brain has put you together with your picture.

I have to confess I need to check out Evan Hunter's non-Ed McBain work, but I know I'll love it. I love his writing anyway and still grieve his death. He seemed like he was a real class act.

Howdy, welcome from a fellow Los Angeleno (Angelean? - I've never been sure) and writer. What bookstore do you clerk in? You do look somewhat familiar.

We have similar tastes in books, movies, and TV! Glad you finally got around to signing up. I don't get to participate much here but I try to pop in now and again. Looking forward to seeing more of you!

Hi Sarah,
Looks like you're a dog lover too. We have 3 of our own, all rescue dogs, and all were abused before we got them. Now they're happy and contented and living a great life.
Have sent you a friend request. Please check out my page.
