Yes Brian asked me to submit a piece so I started it yesterday. It's a little out of my comfort zone, but with one Sci-fi under my belt I thought I would give it my best shot. We'll see if it makes the cut.
Great news about the Mythica submissions. Get involved in the forum. It's a great place to get to know the rest of the renegades over there. I think you will like working with those guys, you can learn a lot from them they've been doing this for a long time.

Thank you for the kind words on Retirement Plan. I hope you enjoy it when it comes out. I'm an old mystery hack so it was a brand new adventure for me to write it and the response so far has been so good that I'm going to do another one for an anthology that I am submitting to that is being edited by our own, Brian L. Porter.
Thanks so much for your great review on Amazon. I'm delighted you enjoyed my story so much. You asked me to let you know when the next one came out and it has in fact just appeared on Amazon. 'Murder, Mayhem and Mexico' my award nominated short story trilogy is now in paperback at
http://www.amazon.com/Murder-Mayhem-Mexico-Brian-Porter/dp/1926640500/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1239224086&sr=1-11
It finished 9th in the 2007 anthologies category of The Preditors & Editors Readers awards so I'm quite proud of this one.
Hope the birthday party went well and that everyone had great fun.
Joyce,
Finally had time to read your story over at Crooked and liked it! Great character, his twisted logic made sense to me (should I be worried?) Well done.
Eric
Thanks so much. 'Murder, Mayhem and Mexico' will be released in paperback in the next week or so, again priced at a modest $3.95. That one was placed 9th in the P & E Anthology awards last year, so I'm quite proud of it.
Your grandson sounds a highly intelligent young fellow. You must be very proud of him. By all means send me a 'rtf file. I can al;ways save it and convert it to word eventually.
Just on my way to the doctor now. Hope to hear from you later.
That was fast! Thank you so much. I really hope you enjoy meeting Alan and Christina in their little adventure in The Carpathians. I'm just going out with my best frined for a couple of drinks but hope to hear from you later.
Thanks a lot. I hope you enjoy it if you get it. It's quite short but was great fun to write. Te length is of course reflected in the price which won't break the bank...lol
I loved that phrase you quoted from the review myself Joyce. I love it that he thought I'd created a wonderfully deranged mind, (though as it came from within my own mind maybe I should be worried...lol).
Thanks again for your lovely comments onmy book and i'm so pleased that you enjoyed it enough to read it twice.
Your support of Graeme' Mythica venture is just wonderful and I'm sure he'll appreciate all of your input. I'm personally looking forward to seeing your submission for the anthology as of course that one is 'my baby'. Since I sent that 'round robin' message out the other day Mythica's newsletter subscription has doubled. Graeme is delighted.
I've asked Graeme to look very carefully at your submission. I can't influence his final decision of course but at least he knows to give it a really good reading. As for the newsletter by all means send him smething if you'd like to submit a story or articlae. Just send it to mythicapublsihing@gmail.com and mark it for the attention of Graeme S Houston. He's really keen to get as much content as possible for the first issue to make it as attractive as possible to the readers.
Hope you have a lovely sunday, and good luck with your submission!
I'll be telling Graeme to look out for your submissions. Do you send them under your own name or another one perhaps? I hope you enjoy the newsletter when we get it out and maybe one day you might like to submit something to it?
He's simply a genius of design as well as all his other talents. Now you know why three of my covers have won design awards! I don't know how he does it, but I'm glad he does. Isn't it just superb?
He does do covers for other people if ever you're in need of one by the way. I'm sure he wouldn't charge the earth.
Looking forward to receiving your submission Joyce. If you can you should blow that cover up to a larger size and see the detail in it. It really is fantastic. It reminded me of H.G. Wells and The Time Machine when I first saw it.
I'll be looking forward to hearing from you about the anthology. I'm sure I answered your query at book town earlier. Was it the one about the word count for Mythica Books? I'll go check it out again. Hope you're having a good dya. It's 9 p.m. here and I'm going to go watch TV for a little while to relax. I've had a very long day at the computer.
