Hey Chris, Are you watching or even yet participating in, Manxus TTus - or avoiding it like the plague ?! Couldn't believe pics I've just seen of the crowds. Still, a wonderful atmosphere; at least it was good fun when I was there a couple of times.
Hi Chris; Just a few suggestions for future GTGT locations (apart from Rome which was already mentioned a couple of times so no doubt in the pipeline, and I think Venice) but how about Nice, Prague, Rio, and ...Monaco.
Crimefest... alas, probably not. We'll see. I love the thought of seeing everyone, but the thought of Bristol (more to the point, travelling to and from) doesn't fill me with glee. Hey ho!
Hey, Chris, I was just reading (in the Bookseller briefing) that THE GOOD THIEF'S GUIDE TO PARIS has been shortlisted for the Last Laugh Award at Crimefest. Many congratulations, it's well deserved and I'm absolutely thrilled for you. I loved the book - I hope you win! :)
Hi Chris Thoroughly enjoyed reading your Amsterdam GTGT (ah the nostalgia, as I used to live there - in addition to IOM !) and am thus sourcing your GTG to Paris - then will move on to the Vegas one; want to do them in order. I see the Dutch version is entitled NACHTDIEF in AMSTERDAM...pretty apt as it means Night-thief in A'dam.
Hope you get some good hype in Port Erin in April. You might like to know I did you a very positive review on Amazon for GTGT A'dam.
Yup, was brought over at the age of 2 and the boat back always seems to be cancelled no matter how often the locals tell me 'There's a boat in the morning' Congrats on your two books. I'll have to have a read now. Paul D. Brazill an English writer living in Poland mentioned you lived on the island.
thanks Chris! I will let you know.
It's sounds so good, too.
Yup, I try to have the page as interesting as I can, because I don't have a book yet to put up there!
It's like a woman buying Bride's Magazine before her boyfriend proposes or something!
and thanks so much for your good wishes.
Good to meet you and hope to get to know you better. Will check over your books as well. I just had a traier done for my latest book, A Mothers Torment and hope it helps in the sales. If it does, I'll have one done for the other books I have.....I think it came out pretty good and they did a good job with it. It's on this site and also on www.amotherstorment.com Let me know what you think of it if you get to see it. Shirley
You're coming to NY? The Blue Water Grill is a really nice restaurant!

You can take a carriage ride around the city... it's a little short but very nice and romantic. if it's not freezing out, of course.
Congrats to you and your honey!! I hope you have a wonderful day!

Your novel sounds fun. I enjoy comedy capers. Wish I could write them!
