Things are far too tame here. Is everyone sleeping? Saving energy for the Halloween bash? Reading? Guess the weather here is getting to the stage where lawn games are out but we could have a ski day soon.
Threaten to invite the entire Moldy gang. If that does not scare them I am not sure what will.

Outdoor summer wedding is a given, we have an acre that they can tromp around on.
And we have not one but two professional photogs within waving distance.
It's just the thought that makes me want to lie down and rest.

Another good tactic is to become immediately involved in the planning to the utmost degree of detail. If you have a quirky relative be sure and include them in a prominent role in the planning and execution of the wedding. Suggest an outdoor summer gathering where grandpa can wear his prized bermuda shorts and black socks with crocs. Go to costco and start pricing party goods and maybe a video camera so you can record the ceremony yourself.

The more relevent topic here is Weddings. Looks like we'll have to cough up for two of them sooner or later. I'm thinking a gift card to Home Hardware (for the ladder) and two tickets to the Bahamas.
I am a practice grandma! Our friend Gina had her first baby today finally (two weeks early but waiting is still rough). It is all very exciting. I get to play with a baby and give it back- awesome.
Okay, croquet is out. Jack refuses to knit. So what are we left with? We did Name that Tune already once. Hangman? Category *old movies*. Anyone know how to draw on here?
