posting excerpts from The Beatitudes at my blogsite www.beatitudesinneworleans.blogspot.com. Also daily reports from the field, stories from NOLA and the world of books.
If anyone would like to be notified when the book is ready for ordering, let me know at lynlejeune@cox.net. All royalties go directly to the NOLA Public Library Foundation. The Beatitudes, Book I in The New Orleans Trilogy, is a crime novel with some paranormal edges ---it is New Orelans and vodoo afterall, folks.
Speaking of the beatitudes ... Blessed are the crime-writers, for they shall ... hang on, there's got to be at least ONE reason why we should be blessed .... Hmmmm ...
Bonjour Kevin:
Yes I know Debra LeBlanc's work and have been in email contact with Ken Bruen. He is not only a great crime writer, but a good person. I'm off to the Thriller Fest in New York this July and he will be there with many other. Both LeBlanc and Bruen are Beatitudes on my blog. Of course there is my all-time favorite, my podna, James Lee Burke. I grew up in Abbeville, LA not far from New Iberia where his stories take place, so whenever I read his books I am there!
Hi Lyn,
One of my favorite people and an excellent author is also a cajun. Do you know Debra LeBlanc? Ken Bruen is fast becoming one of my favorites as well. He wrote a great blurb for my novel. Talk to you later.

I was born in N.O. (raised elsewhere) and am a fan of James Lee Burke. Thanks for the invite; more later.
