Well, at least statewide neighbors. I live near Elizabeth City. In my current novel, Blue Heron Marsh, my protag Webb Sawyer's investigation takes him across the state to places like Clayton, Asville, Carthage, Pineville and Charlotte. He also spends some time fishing off Ocracoke Island with his friend, Blythe Parsons. I love the Outer Banks and had fun writing this book.

Hi Cyndi. I agree. It's hard to beat Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle and his Sherlock Holmes stories. I have two volumes of all his works on my shelf, just to remind myself if I'm getting too cocky about my own work what good writing and good story-telling is all about. Hope you will check out my Crimespace page and website and see what I'm doing these days.

Hi Cyndi, Thank for the invite. . Sounds like you are busy women. You must have to drive all over the place for your daughter, I guess it must be fun though.

Like Jack Benny, I've been the same age for years! Living well is the best revenge!

Hey, Cyndi - Nice to see you here. I've really enjoyed the Dick Francis books on tape. The only thing better than reading a good book is for a guy with a sexy British accent to read it to you. :)

Hi Cyndi,
Thanks for the invite! I noticed Clea is a friend, too--we have the same publisher. I noticed you enjoy Dick Francis--I love his work.
