In my current novel, Blue Heron Marsh, my protag Webb Sawyer's investigation takes him across the state to places like Clayton, Asville, Carthage, Pineville and Charlotte. He also spends some time fishing off Ocracoke Island with his friend, Blythe Parsons. I love the Outer Banks and had fun writing this book.

I have two volumes of all his works on my shelf, just to remind myself if I'm getting too cocky about my own work what good writing and good story-telling is all about.
