Hi Julie! Thanks For the kind words about THE DEVIL'S RIGHT HAND. (Oddly enough "gobbets" is a word I remember from reading Spenser's THE FAERIE QUEEN in high school English.)
Not a huge fan, no - but I like her well enough and I love her face - she does puzzled and dejected second to none. I'm frequently puzzled and I clocked up another rejection today, so my face has been tripping me. Plus, like me, Betty has negotiated the world in black and white as well as colour, and we're both still standing!
Julie!
You chose a picture- thingie!(i know there's a techno word for that somewhere)
I'm a huge Betty Boop fan(no comments from the peanut gallery, please)
Are you?
Good to meet you, Kathy. If it helps, what I'm doing is quite simple. I'm asking people I talk to in the forum (then I feel that we've 'met') and also picking up the odd one with a fab pic, like you. That cat is quite stunning! (We have no pets just now, which is unusual, and I sometimes get broody for a wee furry friend.) Anyway, no-one has bombed me out... yet!
Have fun on Crimespace - no doubt see you in the forum or at the bar. Oh - and if I dribble on your shoulder and slur my speech, don't worry - that's quite normal!
No worries, DA. I bet it takes you an age to accept all the invitations once you do get updated, though!
I'm enjoying Crimespace - and as you have seen, getting brave enough to start inviting people to be my friend. My inner 8 year old took a bit of persuading on that score... what a wimp!
Hi, Julie! Thanks for adding to my list of friends. I wish my computer, sadly out of date, would not allow me to accept the invitations I am getting. As soon as I get updated, I will accept! Had fun with your topic today. So glad to find other people lit-crushing besides myself.
