Hey, Bill! Thanks for the friend invite. Now I feel validated. Today is like a technology black hole--I'm going nuts with my bank, trying to sort the whole theft thing, your e-mail isn't working, my school computer wasn't working. Wah.
We're in Carbondale. We moved here in June so my honey could be a prof in Creative Writing at SIU.
Hugh Laurie is just so good at anything he does. Comedians so often make good dramatic characters. Particularly criminals. It was a funny choice to make him an American!
I know! I always crack up when I watch HOUSE, because I can't buy Hugh Laurie as a surly American. I like him too much as the silly, earnest Bertie Wooster. I have to go check out your profile page. In what part of the country dost thou dwell?
Oh, I do love Beowulf! I even like the hokey "The 13th Warrior" film adaptation of it. Though that may have something to do with Antonio Banderas. Yum! No cats, yet. We could so get together and watch videos! I could watch Jeeves and Wooster, Fawlty Towers and Prime Suspect until my eyeballs fall out!
Thanks, Shane. I was getting a little tired of my blogger photo. How are things in Naperville? And is your book appearing in bookstores now, or is it still out of commission?

Congrats on the two books. What fun!
I love your name--very literary sounding--and the dog's! Are you a Beowulf fan? Do you have a cat named Healfdene?
