Marilyn I received my signed copy of DISPEL The MYTH today, how wonderful!, and just in time for the holidays. Thank-you too much!! I'm still waiting for "ANGELS" by my friend Sunny Frazier to get here, then my shopping list for Xmas will be complete. I just read DK Gaston's book LOST HOURS, an exciting detective type murder mystery with a bunch of twists and turns, and you'll never guess the villain. I'm reading another book right now, chapter eight of 9 NINE DRAGONS by Michael Connelly. You know he was on the new T.V. show Castle Nov 30, him and Stephen J Cannell both playing themselves on that episode. It was so kul. You can see it on online at cbs.com.

Mi Marilyn I just ordered DISPEL THE MYTH, the Paypal link worked brilliant* I also got a copy of Sunny Frazier's WHERE ANGEL'S FEAR. May your Xmas holiday reading be as enjoyable as mine!
If you loved kindred spirits you ought to try Dispel the Mist. Tempe helps with the investigation of the suspicious death of a popular county supervisor and has an encounter with the legendary Hairy Man.
Have you signed up for the PSWA conference yet?
The next registration break in price lasts until March 31. It's a great conference. I know you'd have a good time.
Hi, Marilyn. Great conference down in Vegas. I really enjoyed myself and also appreciated greatly the opportunity to speak about comedy writing. You did a great job of putting it all together. Was good to meet you. Also, one of the nicest group of people I've ever met. Take care! Dawn
I'm sorry to say could be better. I got about half way through conflict of interest and got stuck. Of course, life interventions of kids and husbands catastrophe's does not help. Not to mention I had an Uncle and his family I took care of for the last two years. (he passed in May and his wife and boys moved.) I am hoping this is my year. As long as I can keep the kids off the computer long enough to actually accomplish something. I'm hoping during the school day while they are gone.
Yes, I remembered you from Mayhem, which is why I asked you to be my friend. :) I'll be at Left Coast Crime this year, since it's in my backyard, and have signed up for Malice, too. That's probably it for conferences this year. My son's high school graduation is the same weekend as Mayhem.
Thanks so much for the answers about Love is Murder. We'll probably come on Thursday because we're coming from California and always leave from a dinky airport and usually have to change planes at least once.
Not sure about Sunday departure either, it'll depend upon what kind of flights we can get. But I'm looking forward to it.
We're still working on the definitive schedule--and probably will be up 'til the last minute. That said, if you time your flights to arrive early Friday afternoon (if you're not taking advantage of the Master classes), you'll still have time to get into a Friday afternoon workshop or two, rest up, network, and enjoy the evening's festivities. The LIMCON hotel is very close to the airport, so it's a very, very quick trip. I'd recommend a Sunday mid-afternoon departure, and depending on destination you should get home in time for that evenings' bowl game.
