Thanks for the invite. I see you're reading The Queen's Gambit. I've read it twice; it's a great book.

Thanks for the invite! And yeah, Chicago is quite a town. Sort of a love/hate thing for me, but, heck, nowhere I'd rather be.

Hi L.A.,
Thanks for the invite. I see from your web page that you're from Boston. My wife and I lived in greater Boston for many years before retiring to the Southwest.

Your book looks interesting. I like a good thriller.

Hi, L.A., thanks for the invite. I've done a few thrillers myself, but I'm out of print right now - and trying at least two roads to get back in!

Hi, L.A. Thanks for your invitation. *13 Days: The Pythagoras Conspiracy* sounds like it will be an interesting read on two levels: many years ago, in my misspent youth, I spent some time in the oil patch; and I've introduced a great many (willing and less-than) students to Pythagoras through his famous theorem ;-)

Thanks for the invite, L.A.---The Pythagoras Conspiracy? He (Pythagoras) once said something of people who seek no further advantage than to look at the show and see how everthing is done...

Well, something like that---I will look forward to your theory...

Thanks for inviting me to join you as friends. Still not sure how this process works, but always nice to meet a new author. Like you, I love to read the newspaper. Not the NYT, The Dallas Morning News, but it sure beats our little weekly out here in the sticks.
