Thank you! I see we share some of the same likes in crime fiction. This is an interesting site, and people really are quick with their replies.

Hi L.A., Thanks for the welcome. I just ordered your book from betterworldbooks.com. Its my favorite website for books, not only do I help fund global literacy with my purchases but I also get great bargains on all my favorite books. I will keep you posted as to when I start reading it, I can't wait. I enjoyed your video short as well. Take care

Thank you. I will pass along your compliment to my costume designer for "Five Women Wearing the Same Dress" by Alan Ball. I can't seem to resize it; so the entire drawing is there; however, it seems a bit more mysterious chopped.

I came in Jan. 68, taught 3 1/2 yrs, 7th & 8th English and then left to complete doctrate at OSU. My classroom was upstairs in the admin building. We may have just missed each other. Thanks on the series. THE YARD DOG has been nominated for the Oklahoma Book Award. Heavy lifting ahead, however. Best, Sheldon

As a Texan, you have to have read some James Lee Burke, right?
Do you know that one reviewer claimed he was the best writer today.
(Not just crime writer, BEST WRITER.)

Thanks for the welcome -- agree with you about the early Patricia Cornwell. She got so dark it wasn't a lot of fun reading her and I just kind of lost the thread.
