I guess the proof will be in the pudding. Will there be something here that keeps us coming back on a regular basis? The home page looks interesting. I've never gotten into the whole blog thing. It's pretty amazing how quickly this has caught on, isn't it?
Hi O Great one!
Isn't this fun?
Between here , 4MA and my local library site, I think I'll be on the computer non- stop.
Barflys right- it's a right proper time waster.
Donna, I have never heard of Green Wings. But we have been faithful watchers of Scrubs since it started, and we're not TV people. We've been watching the DVDs for Black Books, and it is wonderful. I hope it makes it to the US, as some of the sound quality on the DVD makes it hard to understand.
Barfly, I can't believe we're doing this either! Looks like it has a lot of possibilities, but I haven't figured out how the communication really works. Like, if you don't come back to my page, then you won't see this reply. So don't be a stranger.
Hey, yer madness.... and Jack, and Donna and .... I really felt I needed another way to waste time on the computer. There just aren't enough opportunities.
Sandra, Black Books was mentioned on 4MA. It's a show from the UK and is hysterically funny. I splurged and bought the DVDs of the first 2 seasons. My husband and I laugh repeatedly as we watch them.
Yippee! Hiya Mads. I had no idea you were a Black Books fan. I love that programme - Scrubs too. There's a UK sort of equivalent called Green Wing which is hilarious. You ever seen that?
Weird, but I have never gotten totally into the James Lee Burke fan club. Perhaps it's because he has a tendency to have woo woo elements, or that I haven't read the series from the beginning. I like his books pretty much, but for most of them, my socks haven't been knocked off. I really liked In the Moon of Red Ponies, even though I hated the first book in that series.

Maddy, Maddy, Maddy . . . one of the great readers of mysteries and now we have another place to harass her.
When are you going to put Crusaider's Cross on the List?
Have you ever noticed how "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" and "Cool Hand Luke" are alike?

Both good, but in the same noirish way.
