D K,
Sorry for my delay in responding. I've been in Zion and Grand Canyon national parks. No places for acrophobiacs. Keep in touch.

Hey DK, nice to meet you. I gather you write thrillers. Do you belong to International Thriller Writers? My novels are probably more thriller than mystery as I like to place Rachel Chavez, my protag , who owns a parking garage in downtown Los Angeles, in some serious action. LIFEBLOOD, the second Rachel adventure is just now out. Is Whiskey Creek Press a good publisher? I have a friend desperately looking for a decent press. Cheers, and best of luck!

Thanks for the invitation! Hope both books do really well...
DK--I'm originally from Detroit too--great city. Those Tigers are skating on thin ice these days, but the Lions showed me something in week one of season. Let's hope that can carry on. Pistons...well, only time will tell which team shows up in new season. R. Barri
Hi, DK -- Congratulations on the reviews, and I hope the book does great. There are few experiences in mife (in my life, anyway) more disorienting than the release of a new book. It's enough to make me want to go into a Buddhist monastery until the whole damn thing is settled.
Your welcome, DK! I checked out your website. You've got some real spooky-sounding stories! And congrats on the double Masters! That's quite an accomplishment. Best of luck with your next book. I hope it'll be a Breakout for you!

Naturally, you're very welcome. Feel free to chat -- at any length on any subject. Exchanges here seem so brief that they are almost antithetical to writing.
Best,
