Profile Information

Hometown:
Tucson, AZ
About Me:
I love to read and I love to write. Well, sometimes I love to write. Like any other job, there are times when writing is like filling in actuarial tables.

Not to knock actuarial tables. They can be fun. But sometimes, they aren't.

Once, authors had to wear tweed, have leather patches on their elbows, and smoke a pipe.

Now they'll dance on the street with a pot for coins and a cardboard sign saying "Will Write for Food.'

I would write for food. But it has to be good food. I'm not writing for a Velveeta and Spam sandwich.

Personal info: seven books published with Penguin, Kensington and Dorchester.

They're out there somewhere.

Say "hi" to them if you see them.

Check out We Can't Dance Together at A Twist of Noir!
Based on that Steely Dan song that's been stuck in everybody's head since 1980.

Hey, back, Carol. And I can't wait to read THE BONE TREE!

I would love to have HBO and see Dexter. (I can rent at the local store, too.) What I really want to watch is Bill Maher. And Curb your Enthusiasm---although it's coming to one of the "free" channels. YAY! Watched the first five seasons on DVD, but the last one wasn't released.

Hey MJ. welcome aboard. Velvetta is not in my budget. Don't like Spam. If you had Showtime you could watch the best show on TV -- Dexter. Although you can rent in on Netflix.

Can't wait to read The Shop.
