Patrick, I'm jealous again!
I have yet to get my hands on a copy of THE TERROR. But, I will definitely do so soon, because I've been looking forward to it's publication for well over a year now.
As soon as my financial sitch improves just a bit, THE TERROR & HEARTSHAPED BOX are on my "buy immediately" list.

Thanks so much for the kind welcome.
And, as a matter of fact, no, I haven't read any of Mr. Huston's work yet. A situation that I most definitely HAVE to remedy ASAP.
Funny that you should suggest his work to me, because over the past two days I've been coming across a lot of stuff online about him as well as a good, long interview with him over at the JANUARY mag site. All of which has made me very eager to get my hands on his "Hank Thompson" trilogy as well as his two Joe Pitt novels.
Judging from everything that I've read ( as well as, what I'm sure is a very insightfull recommendation on your parts ... ) I'm sure Charlie Huston's work will quickly become a new favorite of mine.

Just dropping by to say howdy. Ditto what Daniel said re. Huston. Probably right up your alley if you haven't already read him.

Welcome aboard, BRK. Horror and crime together is a particular fascination of mine. Read any Charlie Huston? The Joe Pitt P.I./vampire series is absolutely brilliant.
