I'm a great writer, but how would you know if you haven't read one of my books? You could take the word of my FB friends and other reviewers, but I could have bribed them.

Why would the publisher of my Nick Schaevers Mysteries give Book #1 away for free? To remove the risk of reading an unknown writer.
