Thanks Roger, I appreciate the constructive comments. I thought of real actors but with the economy being what it is I wanted to get the trailer across the goal line. We all know cops love to act, especially if you show up with food, it sure attracted me. Love the idea for the first line of the novel I'll remember that for my next one.

John, thanks for the invitation. Were the actors in your trailer real police officers? I learned from O'Neil DeNoux and other writers that the first line in your book is probably one of the most important. It is the one that establishes the 'hook' between your story and the reader's interest.
This is just my opinion, Johnny. I find the beginning too utilitarian or mundane. The concept is excellent. Some minor changes to the beginning will bring your story alive.
For your trailer, real actors would help. As a veteran officer from metro New Orleans, cops would act like those in your trailer. They know the job; but they are a bit too stiff for the acting role. Otherwise, good work!
