I'm reading Michael Connelly's CONCRETE BLONDE (loving it!). Is he the novelist who in later books had his hero suffer a heart attack?

(Spoiler warning)

Concrete Blonde is an early Harry Bosch novel - and I don't recall him having a heart attack at a later stage. Another of Connelly's his protags, though, Terry McCaleb is the recipient of a heart transplant in Blood Work and if I remember correctly, he dies of a heart attack in a later Bosch novel.
That's it! Didn't dig that McCaleb character, and I doubt I'll read another Connelly novel -- don't wanna ruin the memory of CONCRETE BLONDE.
