When Kerkorian opened his biggest hotel, biggest casino in the world half a mile off the Strip on Paradise Road the money was against him. Just as many wanted to see the birth of a new Strip on the road that Gus Greenbaum built. With super booker Bill Miller's help, the giant showroom headlined the biggest names in showbiz ... Barbra, Elvis, they filled the joint every night. Plenty of players. Casino a few steps from the Internationale's doors. Yeah, baby, here comes a new Vegas.
