I have no idea where else to post this (it will be on my page as well), so I'm putting it here.

I'm participating in ScriptFrenzy for the first time and am looking for a book to adapt to a screenplay.  If you have one that you think would make a great movie and you'd be willing to allow a complete novice to take a crack at the screenplay, please let me know.  Because ScriptFrenzy is in April, I need to choose quickly, so please send me a synopsis of your book, along with a PDF file.  Please understand that allowing me to do this will not preclude you from selling the rights to someone else later--if you do not like my work.  If you do, then that's another story, and the industry standards would apply retroactively.  But at this point, the writing is purely a learning process for me.

I have a couple of parameters that you should know about up front.  It is OK if the script would earn an "R" rating for violence or action.  Because of my personal religious convictions, I will not write or work on any project that is erotic, or contains swearing (any names of God) or the "f" word.  If your book can be modified to eliminate these things, then we don't have an issue.  If you think that they are essential to the plot or the characters, please don't submit your book for consideration.

Thank you so much.  It would be a privilege to work on any number of y'all's books, and if this is my niche, maybe I will!
