My novel

After a huge decision to stop the current work on my book, and ask for my rights back, and the turmoil of all that, I have good news to report! Avenging Angel has been contracted by Red Rose Publishing *http://www.redrosepublishing.com* and will be a 2009 release! I hope you will plan to get it when it is available, and of course, I will keep you posted!

New yahoo group

Hey y'all! I have cranked up a new yahoogroup for cozy lovers. If you write cozies, read cozies, or just are into that vein of thought, come on over and join up! It's going to be a lot of fun especially as cold weather approaches and everyone is stuck inside in front of the computer. If you are doing Nanowrimo this year, we want to hear from you! This is a great place to post your cozy word count! It's called A COZY HOME and it is on yahoogroups. See ya there!

Are you blocked?

I have had some recent writing issues, and am totally going through the healing process. I posted about this situation over at my group blog, Murder by 4. If you haven't checked it out, you should! Marta, Aaron, SW and I always have something interesting going on over there. See what is cookin' in the murder dept. at http://www.murderby4.blogspot.com and leave us some comments. We love visitors!!

Checking in

I haven't posted a blog in some time in here, figured I might as well get caught up since I am sitting at home waiting on the insurance adjuster to do her thing. We suffered some roof damage thanks to all these spring storms, and now have to deal with the fall out. I dread my next insurance bill. I have finished my second book in the series, working title, Buried Angel. It has been a very difficult birth, but hoping the revision/edit phase will go smoother. so.... who's the next American Idol?

Thanks for the new yahoo group, Kim. I'll be sure to check it out. My debut novel is a cozy (at least, I think so).

Hi, Kim --

Anyone can have 5000 songs on his/her iPod if he or she is willing to suspend all common sense, budgetary considerations, and the demands of so-called real life in order to accumulate music and more music and more music.

I had a head start, though, since I had a couple of thousand CDs when I started, all of which have now been given back to the universe, with only the songs I like preserved for my listening pleasure. And then I simply spent an unlimited amount of money on iTunes and Amazon's music sites.

And it was worth it,

Hi Kim,
Thank you for contacting me. Have to admit that I've been a bit slack about keeping up with crimespaxe as I have lots of other stuff on the go. I look forward to reading your latest book I have never been to Memphis, only know of is as an 'Elvis' shrine

Hi Kim,

Thanks for inviting me to join your friends. We have great memories of Memphis, we visited in 99 and hung out with Paul Burlison, a local musician who, since then, has sadly died. He made it a very special visit.
