Still writing...

Whew! I've been busy! Presently, I'm working on three independent comic book series, some pitches for big companies and my crime novel from late last year. So, LOTS going on! :)

As of this posting, I am at 4,611 words. I am behind the number of words expected at this point in the month, but I am confident I will catch up soon. :)

NaNoWriMo 2007

I'm revving up for my first year participating in this event. I'll be writing a mystery (of course)! :)
I usually don't outline my stories too much, but this time I am working on a basic outline to get myself going since this is going to be a challenging month. It definitely can't hurt to have an outline all set and done. Once I start writing on November 1st, I'll post here about how things are going with it.

THE LINE

My baby, THE LINE (my first comic book series that I've been working on since late 2004) has only come together better and better lately it seems. I don't know what it is, but I've felt so inspired with the book and my characters, mainly my lead have really spoken to me about where the story needs to go. Such a great and cool feeling when that happens. Once I get a lot more issues written, I will be actively seeking a new artist for the book, since current artist, Eric Gravel will be leaving the… Continue

Ten items or less please

It's after 8pm and I'm in a Wal-Mart store. Generally, I try to avoid the chain since I can't stand so many things about them, but that's beside the point. Anyway, I grab the three or four things I came in to buy and head up front to find a short line to get in. Ha. Short line and Wal-Mart just don't play ball together. There is never such a thing as a short and fast line in a Wal-Mart. At least that has been my experience.
Like I was saying, I was in search of a register to purchase my few… Continue

Hi Shannon. It's nice to meet you. I love comic books and graphic novels, my daughter is into them too (proud to have raised a nerd). I love your surname. I used to go to school with a Chenoweth.
