Noir Nation and its sister presses Bare Knuckles Press and Heart's Diary Press has developed a very good relationship with Butterflies and Hurricanes, a design team in Prague, Czech Republic that has raised the bar several notches for eBook layout and design. They have made paper and eBook covers and done all the internal work, even the deep code corrections (the Amazon software doesn't work that well and introduces errors). They make a Kindle eBook something special for affordable prices, and are very professional. They've also done our corporate brand logos.

Some of the covers they've made for us:

Post reviews of new Nook e-ink Touch heretag:crimespace.ning.com,2011-05-25:537324:Topic:2912142011-05-25T01:22:26.202ZBenjamin Sobieckhttps://crimespace.ning.com/profile/BenjaminSobieck

If anyone on CrimeSpace picks up the new Nook e-ink Touch (not the first-gen or the color), please post your review here. I'm deathly curious about these things:

• Is the high clarity pearl e-ink negated by the layer of touch screen technology over the top? In other words, does the touch screen make the text fuzzy?

• Do you always have to use the touch screen or are there buttons to turn pages?

• Why did Barnes & Noble introduce this at $139 when its first-gen Nook is $149? That just doesn't seem right.

Full disclosure, I'm a Nook fan myself. I got the first-gen one with the LCD touchscreen last week. Yep, right before the new one came out. But I think I would've gone with the first-gen one anyway.
