Hola everyone -- Love is Murder (LIM
www.loveISmurder.net) is coming on fast as it happens first weekend in FEB - 1-3 and we have a stellar, stellar list of crime authors onboard as both guests speakers and panelists and you might even find yourself sitting at a table beside Tess Gerritsen, Lee Child, Carolyn Haines, J.A. Konrath (God forbid), William Kent Kruger, or you might have to settle for the likes of me. At any rate, a gander at the website tells all. We have agents and publishers on hand, pitches abound, and if they are closed, hey, these folks can be had for a drink, typically! I know Chicago gets a might bit cold in Feb., however, the hotel is warm and cozy at all times.
We also have a Scotch-tasting session replete with kilts, an evening with Edgar Allan Poe as read by Lee Child, Tess Gerritsen and others, as well as a Stump the Stars panel that is rioutously hosted by Konrath with me as his straight man, and an evening with Twilight Tales not to mention lots of food and drink and more speakers.
Romantic suspense can be found as well as the other end of the spectrum of crime fiction at LIM.
Feb. 1-3 at the Wyndam-O'hara, Rosemont, IL (only a half hour from downtown Chicago and some great Blues Clubs!)
