Hola everyone -- Love is Murder (LIM www.loveISmurder.net) is coming on fast as it happens first weekend in FEB - 1-3 and we have a stellar, stellar list of crime authors onboard as both guests speakers and panelists and you might even find yourself sitting at a table beside Tess Gerritsen, Lee Child, Carolyn Haines, J.A. Konrath (God forbid), William Kent Kruger, or you might have to settle for the likes of me. At any rate, a gander at the website tells all. We have agents and publishers on hand, pitches abound, and if they are closed, hey, these folks can be had for a drink, typically! I know Chicago gets a might bit cold in Feb., however, the hotel is warm and cozy at all times.
We also have a Scotch-tasting session replete with kilts, an evening with Edgar Allan Poe as read by Lee Child, Tess Gerritsen and others, as well as a Stump the Stars panel that is rioutously hosted by Konrath with me as his straight man, and an evening with Twilight Tales not to mention lots of food and drink and more speakers.
Romantic suspense can be found as well as the other end of the spectrum of crime fiction at LIM.
Feb. 1-3 at the Wyndam-O'hara, Rosemont, IL (only a half hour from downtown Chicago and some great Blues Clubs!)

And if all those famous writers won't talk to you, there's plenty of us unfamous Crimespacers going as well, including Rosemary Harris, Jeff Markowitz, and many many more. I plan on establishing our own Crimespace corner in the bar. Look for the banner.
Hey yo, hola Jack Getze -- glad to know you will be at LIM alaong with Rosemary and Jeff, and I suspect others on Crimespace. I hope to see you there. I will be on the arm of a luscious red head named Miranda, my wife, as I have been "Mirandized".

Rob
Looking forward to seeing you there, Rob-- and to meeting all of the others from Crimespace, Redroom and the other sites that have been so welcoming to newbie-me.

I'll be the guy under the big banner "Live! From Love Is Murder," where I'll be doing audio interviews with a lineup of LIM participants --my objective: to provide broadcast virgins with the radio-interview experience, and to provide all the interview lineup with 10 minutes of broadcast-level content for their websites, as "audition tapes" to pitch other on-air interview opportunities, and/or to add as an audio CD to their promo media packets.

Since you (Rob) were instrumental in setting up the Live! From LIM conference activity, here's one more "thanx" for your assistance. And here's hoping it proves a worthwhile activity. And since you were a guest on my MONEY & MORE show last year, as soon as I figure out how to upload audio files to Crimespace, I'll post the interview we did with you here.

Best, and see you at LIM.
