Fundraiser - First Southern California Gang Conference May 27-28, 2010

Criminal street gangs have created a culture of violence within our communities.
Chula Vista PD and Southwestern College have teamed up to provide training.
Topics will be on Street Gang Culture, Drug Cartels, and the Mexican Mafia.
Meet these professional experts in law enforcement:

Former Probation Officer and now DOJ Special Agent Steve Duncan, a recognized expert on Drug Cartels provides experience and knowledge of kidnappings and the apprehension of high level members of the Arellano-Felix Organization.
 

FBI Special Agent Nelson Delgado member of the violent crimes task force was case agent for “Operation keys to the city” a recent organized crimes and racketeering  operation that netted nearly 60 arrests.

 

IGI special Investigator William Edrozo and SSU Investigator Steve Contreras will showcase an insider’s look at the Mexican Mafia better known as “La Eme.”

 

Retired SDPD Detective Felix Aguirre and DDA Investigator David Soliven will team up to cover Street level traditional and non-traditional gangs.

 

SDSO Detention Gangs Investigator John Barrios will discuss activities of street gang members during incarceration.


Signed copies of First Blood, Crime Novel will be on hand in the public atrium.
