how long until bin laden / navy seals start showing up in crime novels?

Anyone care to speculate?

Like the operation itself? Or just the characters? It seemed almost everything published in 2002 contained some 9/11 reference. So I'm sure there are typesetters frantically re-working certain passages before the book ships right now.
I wrote a novel (unpubbed) back in 1991 about an ex-Navy SEAL. I'd met one on vacation and was fascinated with his stories of Vietnam. As I showed the novel around over the next two years, all I heard on TV was Navy SEAL this, Navy SEAL that. They started a show about Navy SEALS. A few agents even said then, Navy SEALS are overdone -- think of something else. The plot of that novel became BIG MONEY, my second Austin Carr book, but I've always wanted to tell those stories that Navy SEAL told me. Haven't had a chance yet ....
Oh, I think that's very likely and there should be again a very good market for it.  Good luck, Jack!
I'm sure there are multiple someones writing books right now!
