<p>I was working on a book that could conceivably qualify as upmarket (thrillerish story that goes forward in time interwoven with a thrillerish story that goes backwards in time that takes place on 3 continents and 4 time periods) when my first science thriller sold. Since then, it's been on the back burner as my career went in a different direction. Maybe I'll dust it off!</p>
