Is anyone else out there enjoying the recent TY adaptation of Robin Cook's COMA on A&E?

I have it on DVR and watched the first half last night, will watch the second half tonight. Sadly, it was one of the last projects Tony Scott worked on before his untimely suicide. A tragic lost, that was.

Sad about Tony Scott, but I gave up on the Part I about half way through.  It dragged and let the tension subside too many times.  It might be the actor.  She didn't seem to have much of a range of emotion.  An example, the scene that started with the medic putting the coffee on top of the guy in a coma.  Seemed hollow and didn't have a follow up effect on her, so what was the point of that scene and several others.

I've read the book and liked it.   I think there was a previous mini series based on the book.  Don't know if it was any good.

True Brian, that was a pretty meaningless scene, and though the movie was implausible in places, I enjoyed it.Fun escapism.

Yes, there was a earlier TV movie. I don't remember if I saw it or not, but I did read the book, many, many years ago. So many, in fact, I can't even recall if I enjoyed it or not.

Come on guys, the original starred Geneviève Bujold, no one's going to live up to that... ;)

Well, this one did have Geena Davis. I'm just saying...
