The Beatitudes now available at Amazon.com. Go to books and search by Lyn LeJeune. YOu will see the New Orleans Public Library there with me; that because all royalties go directly to the New Orleans Public Library Foundation.
Dante's Divine Comedy, A Confederacy of Dunces, The Magdalen Martyrs by ken Bruen, Marquez' One Hundred Years of Solitude, Faulkner's As I Lay Dying, Chine Mieville's Iron Council, James Lee Burke's In the Electric Mist with Confederate Dead. 20 lifetimes to read them all . . .again.
Movies And TV Shows I Like:
Brother Where Art Thou, Now, Voyager, The Third Man, M, The Great Dictator, The Swimming Pool and so many more it would take a lifetime to watch.
Lyn, what fun! Jefferson isn't far from Longview, my home town. I hope you'll post pictures. Do you ever get to Lake Charles? Every now and then I venture into New Orleans. Do you know my friend Barbara Colley? She writes cozies for Kensington.
Hi Lyn, that is really an honor about BEATITUDE and, in my opinion, even more at what you're doing to help your library. I remember when Stephen King donated over a million dollars to the library in my hometown in Maine, and what a major difference it made to our community! It's sad that it's so needed, but you're doing something about it--that's awesome. I can't wait to read BEATITUDE and hope you'll keep us updated on the library's status. -Karen
