Anybody interested in the picture I use for my ID?
It is part of a painted wall in Barcelona, and it says "Antifascist Always" in Catalan. The hammer-and-sickle of the Communist Party is their identification. I am a Social Democrat.
If I had to distill my political philosophy into one word, it would be antifascist.
I try to put some of that philosophy in every book, while avoiding obvious political statements or harangues.
After all, no one likes fascists. Right?
I have added 3 photos. One is a logo I plan to use if I ever get a website together. It is my late cat, Noodles, and a baby rat he dragged in. Seemed like a good metaphor for what a PI does.
The book covers are for Served Cold (Shamus Award, 1994) and Dead Air, the second Lenny novel, set mostly in Portland.
