Sailing to ThrillerFest

There are just too many places to blog these days and far too little time. Right now, I am preparing to make a voyage on a small sailboat from Florida to NYC. I am sailing to ThrillerFest 2007. If you're interested in following our adventures as we brave the Bermuda Triangle, sharks, and pirates, you can read about it and follow us on the map at

Christine, thanks for being my friend! Wow, a fatal fixer-upper boat? That sounds great! My series is set in a small town on the coast of Maine - not exactly Florida, but still, there are boats there - so one of these days I might be picking your brain! Happy 2008 to you, too!

Sounds like a wonderful series, Christine. Is it usual for a woman to run a tug boat? (I'm not chauvenistic, I promise. It just seems like a tough job.) I have a friend who's writing a suspense novel in which the protagonist has a charter boat in Miami. It's called The Rose Tattoo by Heather Aames.

On a sailboat, I'm jealous :) I guess I'll just have to enjoy my time in the mountains :) I was invited to Elizabeth City for a booksigning at the end of the month and I'm trying to figure out if I can afford to go and if I can find the time. I'd love to hear what you think when you get a chance to read any of my work. There's background info and much more on my website about all my books. But the info about Lilah is at www.nikkileigh.com/lilah.htm
Let me know what you think :)

Hi Christine. I'm sure you're involved with Sleuthfest right now. Please say hello to all those wonderful Florida writers for me. You've all been very good to me over the years.

Just been down to Fort Lauderdale Beach for a walk past the Elbow Room - Where the Boys Are. Jeez, I'm glad to be here at the bar with you-all. You may not have the six packs that they had down on the beach, but at leasty i can drink the six packs you've got.

Go green. Happy St. Paddy's.

Chris
