Thanks, Chris. I understand what you're saying, but like I said on the blog, I can't get behind any candidate who won't say the pledge or acknowledge the National Anthem. I won't vote Republican, but if Obama is our only option, I won't be voting for him either. What other anti-American antics has he got up his sleeve? Doesn't anyone else wonder?

Hi Rebecca:
Thanks for the friends invite. I'm late in responding because I've been taking my workshops on the road so much this spring and summer. 9500 miles since April, but I enjoy it. I can't help responding to something in your post on the elections. My son, a devoted fan of Dennis Kucinich and Ralph Nader, didn't believe me in 2004 when I suggested that his vote away from the Dem. party pick was a vote gift-wrapped to Bush. Now he's sorry. If for no other reason, our upcoming choices at the polls will determine who fills the two supreme court vacancies that will occur during the next president's term. Life appointments! Subject entirely to the new administration's values. Even one more conservative on the bench will irrevocably tip the scales for the rest of my life and possibly yours. Sorry to enter the off-topic topic of politics, but the stakes are just too important to ignore realities. All best wishes,
Chris
