Hi Steven
Congratulations on your award. I hope you started that new writing project. It's such a great feeling to get going on a story after a long period of not writing. For me, it's almost like a sense of relief, as if the story had building pressure inside until I let it flow onto the page.

Did you start your Jan 3rd project yet?

Hi,

I read your blog regularly, so I realized that you wrote about my post. Sorry that my English is not good enough, otherwise I would write sometimes posts on crimespace.

Indeed, I never read IJ Parker, but I realized that she is active on crimespace and often comments on "contemporary nomad".

Concerning Winspear: If I understand you correctly Maisie Dobbs wasn't your cup of tea (She won the Agatha). I agree, but I was really impressed with her description of (and attitude to) the "great war" and due to her I bought me a book with verses from Wilfred Owen - fine stuff.

It's a Pity, that I cannot leave a commentary on your blog (I blog with Wordpress and have no Blogger-account).

But: Winspear did not receive an Edgar. She was as often as Bruen nominated for it.

Just finished The Concrete Maze yesterday. I intend to get a review posted and then send it on to my daughter in W. Virginia. I'm sure she will really enjoy the book. I did but it made me sad.

Hi Steven,
I'm glad you picked up a copy of my book. I'd like to meet you and all the other crimespace authors. I'll be at the LIM conference next Feb. in Chicago. Are you or any of your writing friends planning on making it to that conference?
