I love old cars, and have a 1946 MG. The steering wheel is on the right, since it was made in Merry Olde England. It's a little slow by today's standards, but in 1946 was a state of the art sports car. Convertible top (hood, in England) two seats, a hood (bonnet) that stretches out forever, and comes with a crank to start it when the battery goes dead.
What's your pleasure?

Nice place you've got here.
I like the antique electric-chair collection.
Mind if I look around a little bit?

While surfing the web I discovered a book called “How to have an affair and not get caught.” What could be more perfect for a Spotlight commentary from Las Vegas on 1-11-11. After all, “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.” I tried to post it at 11:11pm but wasn’t finished in time.

Remember the days when you'd sign a major contract, get a big ass check in the mail, and just spend a year or so partying like a rock star in New York or Los Angeles or Lincoln, Nebraska for that matter? There was nothing else to do because after all, your book probably wouldn't be hitting the shelves until at least a year from contract execution.
I remember my original editor for…

Has anyone caught on to the fact that I am a big LeeGoldberg and Mr. Monk fan? Hopefully you have , but don’t take the comments Imake in this post on Mr. Monk on the Road as those of a homer or stalker. EverythingI am about to write is dead on target. This is probably the best Monk novelthat Lee Goldberg has written by far, plain and simple, flat out awesome! Tothe book flaps:
“Monk's out on the open highway-but crime is a hitchhikerthat won't be…
