Tomorrow I’ll greet readers and other authors at a 'Wine' & Cheese & Books party. Yes, “Wine” is in quotes because no alcohol is allowed in Virginia libraries. We’ll make do with sparkling cider, real fancy cheese and indie authors reading from their books, courtesy of the Culture Club.

I’ll spend Wednesday morning at the Book Expo at the Bowie Senior Center. I was one of the forty local authors featured at last year's event, which was very well received. So I’ll be reading from my books at this year’s Expo too, and our books will be available for purchase. Tomorrow I’ll be surrounded by great writers at the Gaithersburg Book Festival. This festival is a celebration of the written word and its power to enrich the human experience.
