When people ask how long it will take for my books to become best sellers I generally say the question is beside the point. I think too much focus on the objective can sometimes make you miss the beauty of the journey. In other words, everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you're climbing it.

Author Update

I had a great time at my book signing at Borders in Waldorf MD. The store has a new manager but the customers were as welcoming as always and I'm sure I'll return soon.  There was also a second author that day, promoting a book related to the Pirates of the Caribbean, so there was also a very convincing Jack Sparrow wandering the store to add to the fun.  Jack posed for photos, but I signed more…

Meet Me in MD Saturday

Saturday I will be signing my novels at Borders in Waldorf. This Borders, the furthest south in the state of Maryland, has a Seattle’s Best Coffee Cafe, a very helpful staff and a great All Things Local section. Another Cool Review

I met Dawn Thomas virtually on the Kindle Korner Yahoo group. When one of the other participants mentioned my Hannibal Jones novels Dawn got interested and quickly read through them.
