I can honestly say this is the best genre fiction short story I've read. Well written, nice voice, though I didn't care for the comparison to Double Indemnity, made it seem like you were ripping that story off.

I agree about the line John quoted above. That was a good line. I would like to see this story in novel form.

Nice one. Great mood and terrific use of the time and setting. I'd like to see more of Harvey.
