For a sheer bit of fun - have a go at ranking the Ned Kelly Longlist. Once the CWA release the short list we'll have another go at picking the winners like we did last year (when we had a 100% success rate I might add!)

Best First Fiction

Best Fiction

Best True Crime

It does indeed - although I do hope that Killing Jodie nudges Underbelly - I hear it's a great book. And I'm still very very well disposed towards El Dorado but I know it probably doesn't have much chance.

JJ - I agree with you on liking Golden Serpent very very much - the problem is there are too many good books in all the categories. But wander over to the links - add your votes in there so you're counted - in the poll that means nothing, for the competition that doesn't matter and the prize that doesn't exist :) :) :)

I'd go for Golden Serpent as Best First Fiction.

Shatter as Best Fiction.

And I suppose Underbelly for Best True Crime.
