Charlaine seems to be picking up for Laurell Hamilton, whose last two books were hugely disappointing. This is a delightful series of Sookie Stackhouse with her vampire boyfriend Bill and a cast of shapeshifters and other beings. This is a fun, well-done series which joins my collection along with Tanya Huff and Jim Butcher.
