I passed my citizenship exam today and completed all paperwork, so I got clearance for my citizenship. The swearing in is next month.

No more INS for me. :-)

Simon, I don't know how to put this delicately but ... it's just the way things work here, see, judges really don't like it when you swear at them. I know the INS are jerks (only here we say "the INS sucks" because when we use a plural verb for an organization we get very confused, and we aren't sure who to punch if there are more than one of them and we feel outnumbered and powerless) ... where was I? Oh yes, be very polite, do what the men in uniforms say, DON'T swear, be nice to the fellow in the black dress and NO wig - he's the judge - and everything should be all right. Otherwise - well, I don't think orange would suit you, dear, and it's very warm in Gitmo this time of year.
