We had a wonderful launch at Partners & Crime in Greenwich Village, in New York. There was a great turn out—upwards of 70 people, which pleased me no end. (And my mother was kvelling, if you know what I mean.) I was really touched by the showing, which even included a whole contingent from my past—straight from my days at Perth Amboy High School.

Thanks to my wife, Sylvia, and our good friend Stephanie, there were bottles and bottles of wine and soft drinks, and an impressive looking cheese plate that seemed to go in a flash. And the promised nuts, too.

Kiz, of P&C, was a gracious hostess, and I thank her sincerely for her hospitality.
