Old Habits Die Hard

A quick note to report 3,087 words today on my NaNoWriMo wip. I'm soooooo very proud of myself. Have to strut a lttle. :) Of course, tomorrow or the day after I'll probably be whining. I've learned three things about myself:

1) I spend way too much time in front of this computer -- surfing on the pretense of doing research.

2) I'm actually more creative sitting on the sofa, feet propped up on coffee table and laptop in position. I can actually write, be with hubby and watch TV. (Okay, really I tune out TV.)

3) Once I turn off that internal editor, I fly.

On December 1st, I'll know if there's any hope for my story.
