DISTORTION is an mystery about an artist who paints a crime scene in reverse perspective and turns a murder investigation backwards--onto her friends. The book features a plot intertwined with the technique of reverse perspective, where the background of a painting is enlarged and the foreground is drawn small, the lines of perspective essentially reversed. Several painting scenes introduce the reader to pigments, lighting and the artist mindset. Reviewers said "The painting scenes made me feel like an artist." "The intrigue and lies pull you in."
