I was interviewed on BlogTalkRadio last night on "Book Bridge: Authors to Readers." It's archived for your listening pleasure at .

My most recent LIVE author event was special, not just for the writers involved but the audience as well. A group of local writers assembled in the Office of Personnel Management building in Washington DC in support of the local chapter of Blacks In Government (BIG). This was their third annual Author's Expo and it was a pleasant time. Between 10 am and 2 pm I and 13 other writers held a mass book signing for government workers who rarely leave their building for lunch. In fact, BIG supplied sandwiches and fruit for all.

The best part of the event was that each writer got a chance to take the podium and talk about his or her literary work. I had a chance to learn about some of the better writers in the area and their diverse books. I made some new friends and am already looking forward to next year.
