The Borders in Tysons Corner isn’t the busiest store in the chain, but I still had a good time at the book signing. Not only did I make some new fans but some good friends stopped by to say hi and upgrade their collections of my novels (a shout-out to Joni Jackson Langevoort, ace thriller writer Richard Gazala and his cute friend Heather.) Familiar faces always make these events even better!
Also, this month’s edition of the International Thriller Writers newsletter, the Big Thrill, carries my review of Baked by Mark Haskell Smith. This book about a guy who breeds the best ever marijuana is that rare novel that is both a true thriller and outright hilarious. Read my review of Baked at
