Book signings on college campuses carry extra perks. Aside from selling books at the Northern Virginia Community College bookstore I got to meet a student from Romania, talk with a woman in the intelligence community about my characters going undercover, and chat about Russian Roulette with a fellow from Azerbaijan. BTW, Russian Roulette is still free on Kindle.

And the “Rolling out the Red Carpet Book Signing Event” put on by the Delta Sigma Theta sorority alumnae was even more fun! The Deltas, all decked out in red, were great hosts and as it turns out, great readers! They made each author feel special – we literally walked the red carpet before reading from our books.
