Best of British Crime Fiction

I'm delighted to learn that my marine mystery crime novel featuring the flawed and rugged Inspector Horton, The Suffocating Sea, has been selected as one of ten Best of British Crime Fiction titles by The Book Depository. It's alongside the UK giants of crime fiction: Reginald Hill, Peter James, Val McDermid, John Harvey, Stephen Booth, Simon Kernick, Peter James, Stuart MacBride and Graham Hurley.

The Book Depository was founded in 2004 with the aim of making "All books available to All’ through pioneering supply chain initiatives, republishing and the digitizing of content. It is the fastest growing book distributor in Europe.

The Suffocating Sea has just been released in paperback. It is the third Inspector Horton Marine Mystery. The fourth Inspector Horton novel, Dead Man’s Wharf, is being published in hardcover in April.

I'm really thrilled to be on this list especially being a relative newcomer to the crime fiction scene, and with no big publisher marketing budget behind me. I hope it introduces my novels to new readers who hopefully will enjoy reading about Horton's exploits.
