The Russian Roulette blog tour continues today at
Slendah's Author Interviews .
And in just 2 days I'll know whether or not my efforts to create local buzz about Russian Roulette have had any effect. Saturday's book release party could be a spectacular success or an abysmal failure. It's doubly important because the party will be an indictor of how well I can expect to do at the first bookstore event, at the Borders Superstore in Waldorf Maryland. I'm not worried, exactly, but there is a certain amount of uncertainty.
I've done everything I could think of to get the novel off to a good start. Review copies. Blurbs. Postcard mailing. Print ads. Personal letters to mystery bookstores. Book trailer. Video promo. Blog tour. Everything I know and yet, at this late date, my brain is still buzzing around looking for something else to do to build more buzz. I think people who see me might think that I'M buzzing.
I'm not tense, just terribly, terribly alert.
